Update: 5th November 2016

It has been a while since the last update, and during that time the building steering group have been busy working with the architects and quantity surveyors preparing all the details for the tender package to be issued to potential building contractors.

Whilst we have been doing this the Building Warrant Application has been with Aberdeen City Council – and we heard this week that they have approved the warrant.   A building warrant is the legal permission to start building work.

This is great news for us and now that the warrant is approved we will be moving forward with the process of choosing and appointing a building contractor.

Please pray for us as we make this decision, pray that God will guide us to the best contractor for us.

In the next week or so a container will be placed in the ‘rose garden’ in the front of the main hall.  This container will be used, during the building work, to store items that are currently in the Friendship House that we wish to keep.  If you have any questions regarding any items in the Friendship House then please speak to Andrew Martin.

Please continue to pray for God to be honoured through the use of the church building we have now and that we hope to have in the future.

If you have any questions regarding the project then please get in touch with Susan Reed office@gerrardstreet.com
