Who Are We?

Gerrard Street Baptist Church is a group of ordinary people who come from across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire, and meet together in the heart of the city to worship God and to support each other in living our lives for our saviour Jesus Christ.

The focus of our community is on bringing together the truth of God’s message which we read in the bible, with the power of God’s spirit working in our lives so that we can be effective in God’s mission.

This mission is to share the good news about God’s love and grace to all people and all nations, and so we are delighted to be a multi-national community of all ages and all backgrounds who celebrate our unity in Christ: everyone is welcome!

We all meet together every week on Sunday mornings  to worship and learn, but we also meet up regularly in smaller Community Groups and other special interest groups to continue to grow together..

We are committed to World Mission, and are honoured to support members of our community working in several different countries throughout the world as missionaries.

We are a corporate member of Evangelical Alliance. We are part of the Baptist Union of Scotland.
